The Effectiveness of Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in Emergency Department

POCUS has become an invaluable tool in Emergency departments over the last few years. It enables the Emergency Physician to arrive at a most likely diagnosis and start treating the patients within a matter of few minutes which leads to significant improvement in length of hospital stay and reducing morbidity and mortality from complications that can arise from delayed treatment.
